Family Law means the Law which is meant for dealing in Family and Domestic Law. It is applicable in two ways, the Family Law for Muslims and the Family Law is for Non-Muslims. If the Husband will be Muslim then Sharia Law will be applicable. If Husband will be, Non-Muslim then Sharia Law will not be a mandatory condition.    

United Arab Emirates accept and recognize the rights of Non-Muslims in United Arab Emirates. They accept the rights and therefore there is a separate department for the Family Law Non-Muslims. As per the last amendments, now we can choose the Law of our country. It means the expatriates have the right for this. Rest the procedures are same even for, the Non-Muslims.

  • First of all the complaint is lodged. In Dubai, now the complaints are lodged in AL ADHEED Center. It means, it has to be started from here. 
  • Once it is registered then complaints, are managed in Al ADHEED Center. It means, the sessions will be conducted over there. If the reconciliation sessions will not be successful. 
  • Family Lawyers in UAE, means the Emirati National Lawyers, the Emirati Citizen Advocates, like Advocate Mr Mohamamd Ebrahim Hassan Al Shaiba, 
  • These Lawyers or the Advocates have the superb capability to represent the, people here, for both types of Law, the family Law for Non-Muslims and the Family Law for Muslims which is under Sharia Law.

Advocates in Dubai

Advocates in Dubai means the legal experts in Dubai. These can be of two types. The first one are the local lawyers, also called as UAE National Lawyers or Advocates and the others are expatriates. These lawyers or advocates can call themselves advocates because they also took the degree or professional education from their countries, but you can't call them Advocate in Emirates. They need a license too, to practice in UAE but as a legal consultant only. They can't appear in Court, so technically you can't call them the lawyers or the Advocates. It is proved that just UAE Nationals can be Advocates or called as Advocates because: They can only appear in Court Hearings, Court Cases and Court Representations.  The others are only Legal Consultants, and they can't attend the Court Sessions, and they can't give the Power of Attorney to Clients on their Names.
